
Dr Sara Byrne
Specialist in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry
Dr Byrne attained her Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours from The University of Melbourne in 2000. She worked in general dental practice in Melbourne until 2006. She completed her speciality training in the field of Periodontology and Implant dentistry at New York University in 2010. She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr Byrne is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Periodontists, Australian Society of Periodontology, Australasian Osseointegration Society, American Academy of Periodontology and the Australian Dental Association.
Along with specialist private practice Dr Byrne is involved in undergraduate education at The University of Melbourne and previously Sydney University. She has lectured nationally and internationally in the field of implant dentistry and has published in the Journal of Periodontology.

Dr Varun Garg
Specialist Prosthodontist
Dr Garg completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2007. After working as a general dentist for a few years, he started his postgraduate training at the University of Melbourne in 2015.
During the postgraduate program he was awarded with the Dr. Steele Award for outstanding clinical skills and received his Doctor in Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) in 2017. He enjoys all aspects of prosthodontics but has special interest in aesthetic, reconstructive and implant dentistry. His passion lies in achieving the best and the most natural aesthetic end results for his patients.
Dr Garg lectures extensively and regularly provides hand-on courses to general dentists. He is a core faculty member for The Australasian College of Dental Practitioners and continues to be involved in prosthodontic education as a clinical supervisor at the University of Melbourne.
